What in the world is wrong with us? We just got back from Montana on Monday and I'm sick again. Nearly turned into pneumonia... again. My left side is sore and my lungs crackle when I lay down on my back. My cough is outrageous. So, I went to see a medical professional again. This time they gave me what I always seem to need when the seasons change; antibiotics, cough syrup with codeine, and a new albuterol inhaler.
Ben and Ota just seem to have allergies. Ben's coughing has ceased almost completely, which is great. Ota seems to be blowing his nose all the time. I got him some nose spray (OTC) and he said he's actually going to try it this time. At least one of us will sleep well tonight!
Stayed vegetarian tonight, for myself at least. The boys had fish sticks, but I chose tomato soup for my main course. We all had brown rice couscous. I'm sure it was all great, but I couldn't taste anything. To help me stay on target with my diet I also prepared some basil/pesto pasta salad. All the couscous leftovers and pasta salad is packed away in the fridge. Now, if I remember to pick up fresh veggies tomorrow at the store, I can make that tofu I've been putting off for a week now. Good thing those packages keep for a long time.
Ugh... I hear the sounds of bedtime fighting.
