My second day at the new job was terrific. I feel like I shouldn't chat so much, but people are so nice to come by and introduce themselves. My supervisor is a lot like the people I know in the biz, so we're getting along great. I think she likes how I know enough to already get some DVDs out to the shelves. It's not rocket science, but there are lots of local practices to add to every record.
In the future I may work 30 instead of 20 hours. The copy cataloger/circ person is leaving in May and I'm theoretically replacing her. It's too bad though, because she's really nice.
Ben is having trouble adjusting to the new sleeping schedule though. He has been getting up with us at 6:30 am for the past couple of days. I drop him off at school by 8:30, then at work by 9. When I picked him up to day at 1:15 he didn't wake up from nap. Apparently he was tired and cranky all morning; going right to sleep at nap time. He's still asleep now... slept all the way home.
Since he's still asleep, I guess I'll take a little nap myself.... after hitting the games on facebook.
