Sunday lazies

Yesterday we did nothing.... nothing.... I was in pain with cramps and heartburn. Heartburn that never goes away is killing me. I've been eating Rolaids like bon bons. On the other hand, Ota got tired of laying on the couch so put the Christmas tree away in the basement.

Today, thankfully, we got out of the house. We went to REI and got glove liners for Ota. I got a snazzy new wool jacket. Ben climbed all over the shoe rock and in tents. I'm now a lifetime REI member, but I thought I already was. Oh well... They have a GPS party on the 27th, so I might look into that.

Then we went to the Spicy Pickle. We had never had lunch there before. Ben and I had grilled sandwiches, while Ota had a regular sub. Ben didn't have any problem eating all his sandwich. It was great. I recommend it.

After that we went to Toys R Us and wasted a couple hours checking out everything. We got some more TAG books for Ben, which have been great when we get sick of the t.v. being on all the time. We also got Ben a much needed helmet. He has been wearing it all day.

It's a Optimus Prime helmet. He is still totally addicted to Transformers.

After an excellent dinner, we've been sitting on our butts goofing on Facebook. Ben hates us being on facebook. He starts menacing the dog, dragging toys downstairs, and running around the couch. Sorry Ben, we suck as parents. :)
